FOREST OF IMPALED Putting Finishing Touches On New Album

February 1, 2006

Chicago's own war metal veterans FOREST OF IMPALED are putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to "Forward the Spears", tentatively entitled "Rise and Conquer". The band have once again gone through another change in the vocal and bass department, with the departure of Markus Kolar. "We have recruited our brother Zion (DISINTER, NACHTMYSTIUM),who pretty much was our first choice and someone we really want on our side," the band write in a press release. "This is going to be a suprise release for some. We've taken many steps to not put the same record out again! Zion will also add his flavor in there as well. Also it will open whole new doors for the band as far as more records, tours and so on.

"We know a lot of people have been asking for live dates and were just about ready, soon! As for the rest of the guys we are primed and ready we are welcoming old friend and brother in with open arms, and are ready to destroy 2006 with him at the helm."

FOREST OF IMPALED's fourth release is expected to surface later in the year.
